Did you know that Missouri is becoming the Napa Valley of the Midwest? Missouri-grown grapes that are turned into wine is fast becoming another Midwest delicacy. We have the perfect climate for growing wine grapes with our temperate spring and fall temperatures.

We offer a collection of sweet and semi-sweet red wines. Uncle Carl’s Ruby Railroad Red Wine is a tantalizing blended sweet red wine with wild aromas reminiscent of raspberries, mulberries and other wild berries that dazzle the palate with layers or ripe fruit. Uncle Carl’s Ruby Red full bodied wine is a blend of Missouri Concord, St. Vincent and Chambourcin grapes. We dedicated this to the memory of Uncle Carl because the wine is as robust as Carl himself.

You also can enjoy Uncle Bud’s Railroad Red Semi-Sweet Red Wine. This semi-sweet has a soft, charming character with light and fruity aromas and is broadly appealing as it reveals the uniqueness of the Missouri St. Vincent grape. This sweet red wine has a charmingly smooth finish. This wine is named in honor of Uncle Bud. Uncle Bud was a man who loved the adventure of the railroad. He lived down a gravel road, near banks of the Missouri River.

Semi Sweet Red Wine

This semi dry red wine has a soft character with light and fruity aromas and is broadly appealing as it reveals the uniqueness of the Missouri St. Vincent grape. This wine is named in honor of Uncle Bud.
Uncle Bud was a man who loved the adventure of railroad. He lived down a gravel dog legged road and over a small hill.
The railroad ran not far from his backdoor. The railroad train ‘s click clack inspired him to explore beyond his back yard.
He was one of the first of his time to endorse the railroad.
He could see the railroad allowed the farmer to provide a good living for his family by getting his crops and livestock to market in a timely manner. He always had a smile on his face and a gentle character. He always had a colorful story to tell.
He never met a stranger he didn’t like, or fast became his friend. He lived every moment to the fullest, which always made him a favorite at family events.

Sweet Red Wine

This tantalizing blended sweet red with its aromas of raspberry and cherry dazzles the palate with layers of ripe fruit. This red wine is a blend of Missouri Concord, Vt. Vincent and Chambourcin grapes.
This wine is named in honor of Uncle Carl. Uncle Carl was a prospector of the land.
He lived off a dirt road through gently rolling hills. He took pride in combining the right soil with the right variety of berry mixed warm August Sun and cool Missouri nights.
He was a dapper gent, when dressed for an important event he always wore a ruby red tie pin.
Born in late 1800’s. He nurtured his vines, orchards and family. He loved to share the fruits of his labors with family and friends.
He was always quick to put ideal hands to work picking.

His bride of many years made a Razzelberry pie with a blend of his berries that to this day cannot be matched. Many pies were entered in the county fairs over the years and many won prizes as the best in show.

Semi Sweet White Wine

With a rich floral nose, this fresh white wine delivers a hint of sweetness and a crisp, yet subtle finish. The Varietal components that create this wine are from the Vignoles, Taminette and Seyval Missouri grapes. This Semi Sweet White Table wine is named in honor of Great Aunt Lillian.
She lived down this little path to the left of the big oak , just passed the big blooms of Queen Anne’s lace.
Aunt Lillian was a loving mother and devoted wife. She always had a delicate air of rose water.
She had a delicate sweetness about her. To our memory she never raised her voice to her children. However she had a crisp look that needed no words.
She was prim and proper.Her hobbies included handwork with thread tatting, smocking, crocheting and lace making.
She supported and encourage all of her family to live what they love, and love what they lived.

Rose’ Table Wine

Unlike an ordinary blush, this wine is made with the Native American Catawba and Cayuga Missouri grapes, giving it a bold fruit flavor and a pleasantly sweet finish. This Sweet Rose table wine is named in honor of Great Aunt Kate.
On a narrow tree lined street. She lived with her family just east of the town square.
Considered a beauty in her day.
Being a child of the roaring 1920’s. She believed in living life to its gusto.
She attended college when tuition was $50.00 a semester. Smart, challenging, well read, well traveled and
a magician in the kitchen. She believed every woman should full fill her dream.

When asked why she got married she replied, “He was just so much!”

She embodied the saying, “Life is not measured by the number of breathes you take but by the number of moments that take your breath away.”

Everyone needs an Aunt Kate, an un-ordinary rose in an ordinary world.
